After graduation, Ben Boylston passed the bar exam and began work for Graves & Spivey, P.A. in Tavares. In his five years there, he learned the craft of trial advocacy from two of the finest courtroom practitioners in central Florida, Mike Graves (now Public Defender for the Fifth Judicial Circuit) and John Spivey. In 2013, Ben became a founding partner in the law firm Stuart, Mount & Boylston, P.A. In 2016, He branched out and opened his own firm to better serve the people of Lake County and beyond.

Ben Boylston is immediate past president of the Lake County Bar Association and is a current member of the Florida Bar. He has brought more than 40 criminal cases to jury trials, from simple possession of marijuana to a death penalty murder case. Ben has prosecuted and defended cases, represented cities, businesses, and both sides of landlord/tenant disputes. He was recently published in Barry Law Review (June 2015) on the application of Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law.
